Trying to beat my misery,
Don't wanna go across the sea,
And if I could take you everywhere,
There'd be no cause for my despair,
And I know we won't touch for months,
And your smell will evade me,
But our love could survive a war,
Without the slightest sore,
I know you suffer for my art,
Always pulling us apart,
Your forever in my brain,
Even when I cause you pain,
And I know I can't taste your skin,
With an ocean between us,
But our love is a dinosaur,
Hear it roar,
And I know we won't touch for months,
And your smell will evade me,
But our love could survive a war,
Without the slightest sore,
And I know I can't taste your skin,
With an ocean between us,
But our love is a dinosaur,
Hear it roar,
Hear it roar.

Happy Father's Day
He was the first hero, the one person who could do anything and achieve anything. The person who told me I could do anything I want and be anybody I want to be, all I had to do was work hard and make it happen myself because nobody will help you achieve the goals that you set for yourself. And I believed him. Every word from him.
As much as I didn't want it be like this, I am my father's daughter. We are very different but also so much alike in many many ways and perhaps it is because we're so alike in so many ways, our personalities will on occasions clash because you always seem to find ways to cause a lot of unnecessary frustration in my life.
The older you become, the more I cherish the dad you used to be. The one I used to adore. I don't want to be the ungrateful child that can now only find fault in the parent, but right now, I can see nothing in you but faults. I hate that. I hate that I think of you in this way.
I guess we all grow older in different ways. Your destiny just happened to be "grow up, grow old, act more selfish, think for myself only, disregard your family and become more immature"
Thanks for everything dear Father.

2 kinds of people
There are 2 kinds of people in the world
Those that look at the phone when it rings and thinks "Who the hell is it now?"
And those that look at the phone when it rings and thinks "Hey, I wonder who it is...?"
I'm trying very hard to be more like the latter.... ;)
